Don't let your child go to this school district unless you want them to be really far behind! The teachers are caring and I believe really want the children to succeed but their hands are tied. There is not a big bully problem here (to my knowledge)--which is a great thing but I have been told a lot of education time is focused on getting the children to listen/behave. Very dissatisfied with how far behind my child is academically speaking. He was not taught basic things he should have been and is literally almost 2 years behind his peers who go to other districts. If your child does go to this school make sure you are supplementing writing assignments and math for them at home.

All my kids went here senxe kindergarten. The teachers and staff are great including the priciple. This is a great choice for a school.
Elm Dale is an excellent school. It should be used as a model for all school. We moved out of state about a year ago and miss it greatly.
I have one student that attends elm dale. the staff are outgoing friendly and helpful.there are vast educational resources available to every student whether it be classroom media center or extra individual attention.the parents are completely involved in activities of the students from classroom participation to fund raisers to field trips. it all encourages the best end result a caring educational environment.
We have 2 daughters (2nd K-4) at Elm Dale and are very impressed with the school. Resources for kids at all levels (remedial to advanced) are available to all children. Music and art are offered all all levels with a chorus for 4th and 5th graders. Instrumental education starts in 6th grade but the kids are introduced to keyboards (and I think some other instruments) while at Elm Dale. The PTO is a great group and annual fund raising averages about $30k--those funds are used for all-school field trips computers music and playground classroom expenses books etc.
