Love the new principal Andrew Hooker he is doing an awesome job at Hughes. The teachers are more engaging with the students and he's ramping up the technology classes even more. I have an eighth and sixth grader and both are challenged and happy. We feel prepared for Greenville High next year too! WE love HUGHES!!

We just moved to Greenville and my student is in a gifted English class and Algebra I class as a 7th grader. I love the school. He is excelling and didn't miss a beat in the transition/move from Virginia. I think this has a great deal to do with the Teachers at Hughes Academy and their hands-on instruction to the students. School has a new principal that is going the extra mile to make a difference at Hughes.

As a science and technology magnet my son is able to learn with hands on experiences how to build and create in a robotics club... in a gateway to technology class... with a state of the art science modules called Pitsco missions. The school also offers transition Spanish for the Immersion students strings sports art and more. A very culturally diverse and thriving school!
