DC-G has four school levels that I have had the pleasure of seeing my four children through over the last two years. The school is excellent due to it's caring staff and great leadership. I would love to see more opportunities for gifted kids in the elementary level as well as a stronger reading program through all levels.

I have on child in the High school now and my eldest child graduated in 2007. We moved from the South Side of Des Moines to get our children in a better environment and Grimes is one of the finest in the area. The athletic programs are great and the facilities are exceptional. The staff in the school district is second to none they care about the children and have immediate response when the boundaries are crossed. Communication with the parents is also exceptional. They allow and encourage parental involvement in the school. I have had the priveledge of taking pictures of many of the events.
