In 2011-2012 North Carolina used End-of-Grade (EOG) tests to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in reading and math, and grades 5, 8, and 10 in science. The EOG is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of North Carolina. I feel that Grover has an outstanding staff. I have sent my child to Grover and if we had not moved my child would still be there. I notice that every time I was there someone was making sure I was were I needed to be or point me in the right direction. The teachers all seem friendly and their willingness to help me although my child was not in their class made me feel good about that. I also feel that the principal goes out of her way to make sure the parents student visitors and staff are well acknowledge for their hard work. I have been to several different schools and Grover is the one I put on the top of the list when it comes to treating people equal. No matter what the person or child looks like everyone receives the star treatment at Grover.
