I'm a freshman at Dater High School and I love it there. I'm also in the AA program which is only offered at Dater and Walnut Hills. Everyone likes to compare Walnut Hills to Dater but I think that Dater is better. The population isn't very big which means everybody knows one another. The principal knows everyone by first names. He'll stop you in the hallway if you seem down and he's totally understanding about things. There are amazing teachers there. They actually take time to explain things to you. I've also made friends at Dater High School that are like my 2nd family. Dater is a very good school. I haven't regretted my decision to go here than Walnut ever since 7th grade. (

awesome !! i loved going there and miss it but had to switch out because they do not have a credit recovery program =[ but overrall its a friendly atmosphere and 95% of the people get along.... the principle is cool and the teachers are tough because they want to see everyone pass ......

This is my Senior year at Dater High School and I love it. I think that 80% percent of the teachers I have had are great some are pretty tough. But overall I would never pick another High School over this one! It's awesome!

Excellent programs available. Music art and sports availaible (sports program through Western Hills HS. PTA lightly attended but parent-teacher conferences can be busy.

Great academic program but not a good school for the least rebllious kids. Sometimes it seems as if the school is all about discipline and the students don't seem to enjoy themselves. For students who base their school of choice solely on the academic performance of the school this is a great school but for kids who are the extra curricular type this school is as the kids would put it *LAME*. Also this school doesn't offer many foreign language courses but over all the academics of this school are fantastic.
