My child has been attending Hartwell Elementary since first grade. She has just finished the 4th grade. She had a fantastic teacher this year that went out of her way to educate and mentor my child. She not only taught her academics but gave real world examples from her own life regarding learning. My daugher has excelled at Hartwell Elementary from first through 4th grade. The atmosphere at Hartwell Elementary is very warm and caring. The only problem my daughter has had is that some of the students in her class have behavior difficulties which is upsetting to her at times. It has not appeared to have impacted her learning adversely as she exceeded 4 out 5 areas on the CRCT and met standard in the other area. I would not hesitate to encourage others to have their child attend Hartwell Elementary.
