Southern Vance high school is a good school overall. The teachers actually care about the students. The school has variety of sports and clubs to join. The biggest issue the school has is a behavior problem but that's for their parents to correct and they principle she's great. She always looking out for her students and she also is very generous to her employees and the students and their parents

Southern Vance has no leadership. The teachers act more like children than the children. The school board move a good principal for nothing. The children at this school are looked apon as people who are going to fail. What's up with that? There are good children at Southern who have parents that support them to the fullest but when the teachers treat they like they are nothing than its time for a change. The athletics at southern has no support but from the parents. How can a coach make statements like "the players on the basketball team don't have the mental IQ to play basketball". How can a coach for years and never send a child to college. I thought when I moved my children to vance county school I was doing the best for them but the was the biggest mistake every. This school seat the children up to FAIL!!!!!!!! So is this really a great school? Now don't get me wrong there are some teachers at this school that do care but not many.

This school has a bad problem with some teachers and the princ picking on some students due to problems in the past. Which should not be done no teacher should pick on any student for any reason. Teachers are to be fair about every problem and be able to listen to the student with judging them. This is something that is going on at Southern Vance School more than on one time.

I really think it is a good school. I just think they need to do more about bullying.
