We have two sons attending Krystal. Mr. Kirk and the staff are professional involved and really care about the success and safety of our students. Parents who make the decision to drive through to drop off their children should understand that it will take a little longer to ensure the children's safely (those children who are walking across the crosswalk). The teachers are caring genuine and from our experience really love working with children. Parents who get involved with their children's education help not only aid their children's success but also that of the school.

The schools drop off and pick up are poorly planned and lead to aggressive drivers. The principle lacks the knowledge to be able to keep the flow of traffic moving thereby making the experience a long and trying one. Academics appear to be average but the drop off and pick up are so atrocious that the school warranted a average rating.

This is a great school. Teacher's and staff are helpful caring and genuine. I couldn't imagine taking my son out of Kyrstal. He and I both would be heartbroken.

My son has attended Krystal since his kindergarten year which is the year Krystal opened. My daughter has attended since kindergarten as well. Having older children who have graduated high school I have had alot of experiences with various elementeries. I have come to this conclusion Krystal is the most wonderful!! These last 4.5 years ( my son is now in 4th grade) have been such a fabulous experience for the kiddos. I have not one complaint. The teachers and staff are very involved with the students and remain so fair and friendly even while directing traffic after school in the 105 degree heat!! The kiddos teachers have been above average and have exceeded my expectations. We love this school and appreciate what they do every day for our little ones.

Krystal is great!!! I love this school! My son has been going to this school since kinder. The teachers are wonderful the staff and Mr Kirk is an awesome principal. Mr Kirk is involved with the kids a lot and that makes it fun for the kids. Few things I Don't Agree with such as candy bar fundraising. Last year my son was promised an ice cream party for selling 3 boxes of candy bars and for doing so he got to eat a Popsicle in the cold. This year he didn't sell candy bars so he was Not allowed to attend the BMX assembly but another student got to go because it was against their religion to sell candy bars so my son pretty much got punished because I simply just wouldn't allow him to sell this year. Be Advised Parents!!!! Parking lot is a Total Nightmare!! I don't understand why parents cant use the bus zone after the buses are gone when there are only 2 buses at this school and have some pickups and drop offs here to help traffic flow. My son has learned a lot here and loves it!! Also I do agree with the comment about the PTA kids winning things but my son understands the importance of learning which is a win in itself rather than myself doing things for him to win.

Krystal is a wonderful school. I have loved it there and so has my child. In regards to the comments about the PTA -- I think that the PTA is amazing the current president has done a remarkable job -- stepping up mid-year when there was no president. The PTA team that is there now are saints in my opinion for all they have put up with. I have a lot of respect for those parents that put their kids first and dedicate so much time to making the kids have the best year that they can with PTA fundraisers etc. They truly go above and beyond. I am excited to join them next year as I have hesitated at times with previous leadership. I am only saying this since it was mentioned a few times below. Mr. Kirk is awesome as are most of the teachers. I love that they teach morals as well as academics and any time there is any issue/problems they get back with you and take care of it right away.

I was told bye everyone and bye many reviews that this is the best school around. My child is in kindergarten here but im a little concerned... 33 kids to one teacher and no aid? Where does the one on one time come in when your chasing 30 something 5 years at once???? I'm not so sure anymore rather or not this is the best school? I like that it has a late start since my child is not a morning person. This school is only a few blooks away so Im gonna try next year for a month or so.. since the hours work best with my job but also in hopes of a better teacher and that a few kids leave the school. but this whole year as soon as a child leaves - up pops another one to fill the space. No wonder their test scores are slowly dropping.. look at the enrollment as every year it keeps climbling!!!!

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH about how amazing this school is! **Mr. Kirk is amazing. He is devoted to this school. When you pick up your kids go to a school activity ANYTHING he is there having fun and working hard. **My Kindergarten son has had learning issues since birth. Krystal has been right there helping him and encouraging him and taking the extra time he needs to learn. My son feels loved and valued. My older two sons also attend here and they just love school! They are challenged and have fun every day. **EVERY SINGLE teacher here is incredible. They are all smiling and happy and love teaching! There is not a jaded burnt out teacher to be seen for miles. Not only that but they all work together as a team and are all friends which you can clearly see. I love to see what is a true example of one unit leading a school. **Parent participation is astounding! Every party/field trip/performance/award ceremony has hundreds of parents in attendance. This is why the PTA "problems" (we're all aware of them) do not bother me. I may not be in the PTA but I participate as much as any PTA member. Krystal is simply put THE BEST school in Hesperia nay The High Desert!

I don't know anything about the problems mentioned about the PTA but I do know that my child came to Krystal with reading difficulties and is now reading well. I am very grateful to the teachers for helping my child feel good about school and be successful. Krystal is not just a school for the top students as stated by other reviewers but a school wIth a caring principal and teachers who give their all to helping students who struggle as well as students who are doing well. Hats off to the best school in the High Desert!

Krystal is an amazing school. Mr. Kirk and most of the teachers truly love the kids. As for the PTA there are a lot rumors around the school that are very negative. Maybe people should put the amount of unpaid volunteer hours that our PTA does. They have to hold it all together. They should be applauded for sticking it out through all of the negativity unlike those who quit half way through the year because things didn't go just the way they wanted it too then go out in the parking lot and gossip and tear apart these women who do an amazing job to make sure our children have great experiences in school. To the women in our PTA thank you for all you do.

This school has done a remarkable job. This is because of the principal staff and of course the PTA. I work so I cannot always volunteer but I admire those ladies who are dedicated to helping the school all the time. I know my kids field trips and everything they have had has been because of the parents who help and make it happen. I feel for them they are constantly being scrutinized and mostly by parents who have no idea what it takes to keep a PTA going. It's hard and for them to stick through it means lot in my book. I'm thankful they are there making sure my kids have everything while I cannot. Maybe if more parents just simply attended meetings and provided constructive criticism instead of parking lot banter and actually putting in time to help instead of adding to the negativity things could be more positive with the PTA. This of course is just my opinion and previous experience with parent volunteering. I would highly recommend this school.

my kids have been coming here since the school has open. The first year was awesome the staff the teachers the principle the parent volunteers and even the pta. i love that the teachers are so involve with these kids they care so much about there education but now the only thing that is disappointing is the P.T.A majority act like they own the school walk around all snobby they are what brings this school down most parents i have spoken to also agree something needs to be done about them i signed up to join p.t.a and seen how these people talk about others and act and i no longer want to be part of a group who thinks they are better then other parents at this school. and i just think its funny how when there are contest like gingerbread house science fair talent show etc its always the p.t.a kids or teachers kids that always win and not the kids who actually did these projects on there own with out the parent doing it all i thought it was a kids project not a project to see how talented the parents are. but this is just my opinion.

This is our first year at Krystal it is everything we had hoped it would be!! We have dealt with some teachers and staff from Oxford and Lime street they have always been fantastic one of the reasons why we transfered our kids here. We are very pleased with the education our children are getting and the values they are teaching them- WE ARE KRYSTAL!!!!

We have been at Krystal since their doors first opened. I have no complaints about this school other than parking lot issues. Then again what school doesn't have problems with inpatient parents wanting to pick up there kids and leave a.s.a.p. Wonderful principal teachers and staff. Sad to say one of my kids will no longer be attending here since he will be promoted to middle school. I have a kindergartner that will continue though. We have some great clubs but I would like to see some more added. For example chess club would be great. Definitely would recommend this school to others. One of the best elementary schools in Hesperia. Though we live on the other side of town well worth the drive. The gas is at $4.09 a gallon but a great education is worth it.

Amazing school! The absolute best hands down. I am so grateful my daughter was able to get in and we could not be happier. The staff principal and teachers are amazing. Mr. Kirk greets us every single day and takes the time to talk with me whenever possible. My daughter's teacher is very caring knowledgable has experience and just loves her job. We feel like we are part of the Krystal family. They are always so kind helpful and work so well with the children. My daughter loves going to school is mastering the standards and has lots of friends. I also have to add that the students are adorable in their uniforms and it makes mornings so much easier. My family could not be happier and we are looking to many more years at Krystal with both of our children )

We love Krystal. I love seeing how involved the principal is with the school. The teachers are great and I love knowing my son is getting the best education I can offer him @ Krystal. They have fantastic communication between teacher's and parents. I e-mailed my son's teacher and within 5 minutes she responded. I am looking forward in seeing my son grow and learn at Krystal as I know he is in the best school!!

The principal is always very rude! The office staff all have attitudes and are also rude some teachers are ok and there are a few teachers that are good. PTA ladies are stuck up and think that they are better then the other parents. The parking lot is a nightmare the whole pick up drop off procedure is a joke!! Large class sizes... I was not happy! Planning to move my children out of there! I do not recommend this school to anyone
