I think sultana is a fairly decent school especially for the high desert. They have impressive sports teams such as cross country track and field wrestling ect. There are some great coaches

Yea i think its a great school for your child to go to as long as he/she goes in to study and work hard they can really make it somewhere but if your son or daughter is there to fool around they will fail.

I just recently graduated from Sultana High School this year! The classes and the school altogether was great. I loved the teacher-student relationships and the fact that my teachers got me through! Mr.Cope as well as Mrs.Francis helped me out the most! Thank you Sultana High for the wonderful 4 years I spent there! -Tara Pape

I have had two sons go through the Sultana program. I have been impressed with the level of scholastic performance of the teachers and the talents of the administration and staff. Because my kids have both been on the AP/college track my opinion may not be as applicable as with the average student. One word of caution however. There is a math professor who is absolutely terrible.

I currently attend Sultana and have found it to be a wonderful school. The extracurricular activities are plentiful and I must say that our track & field and cross country program is among the best with a world-class coach. The teachers are kind and willing to lend a hand when you need it. They are also very qualified. Overqualified if you ask me. The honors program is suburb. If you are considering putting your child into this school and they are dedicated and hard-working they are going to get a great education. Tell them to stay with the friends and teachers that will be a positive influence in their life no matter how geeky they may be. Maybe when your kid gets accepted into the college of his/her choice maybe you'll realize that you made a good decision sending your child to this school. Go Sultans. - A Satisfied Student

My child has just stared at this school. I want to look at the test scores and standards. I do know there is no dress code and the majority of the childrens clothing is disrespectful and tasteless. These kids have to carry heavy backpacks all day. Im sure their health will suffer for it eventaully.

Sultana High School has a wonderful automotive program. There are many clubs to participate in like the Key Club to provide service for others. Opportunities for academic success abound.

Sultana High School is not a safe learning environment. I've had to replace two pair of glasses this year because they were broken with a basketball. My son wasn't playing at the time. He was on the sidelines and was deliberately hit in the head with a basketball both times. Yesterday he came home with a huge welt across his back from a belt. Two boys were running around whipping each other and he didn't get out of their way fast enough. The teacher was in another part of the building. The auto shop doesn't have enough books for all the students so kids flunk. The school is over crowded - 40 kids per class. Supervision is nil. There is no accountability for poor teachers - only excuses. Bad kids run wild.

I am a former student of Sultana HS. I am currently a student at UCSD. I feel that SHS provided we with a warm safe enviroment to learn as well as a very educated staff which allowed we to go to university. The resouces provied for my family and I at Sultana allowed for a very freindly atmosphere between parents and faculty. I have two sisters who also attended SHS and are now currently attending U.C. Berkeley and U.C. San Diego. I must admit that some credit of my families achievements must be passes to the wonderful teachers and staff at Sultana High School

I have had three Students go through Sultana High school and soon will have a 4th. The school is great and helps the kids where they need help in either displine or learning. The Band and Choir is great at this school. And all the teachers are wonderful and help to when your students gets behind and you are trying to keep them on top of things to give your child the help he or she needs. Thanks Sultana High you will have my children for at least until 2020 in this school district

I'm not a parent- I'm a sophomore at SHS. Our school is so great! It has a clean carefree enviroment & every one is pretty friendly!

I have 3 children who have or are attending Kingston. I must say overall I have been VERY pleased with the principal communication. One thing I am NOT pleased with whatsoever is that the kindergarten classes are extremely large. On this site it is saying the average is 19 but the count on K classes are 30+. I find this very difficult for the teachers and students alike. Kindergarten is the base of our children's education and with such large classes I find it in very poor taste that our parents teachers and children alike are having to endure such a Large quantity of peers to try to get started in their educational needs. Smaller classes are beneficial to all.
