This school is academically and technologically advanced however I do feel that we should be a little better prepared for things such as the ACT. The teachers are great though! They really care about you and you can come to any one of them with a problem school related or not and they will help you. Spiritually I am a better person than I would have been had I not attended Holland Christian. Faith is implemented into every class and I see God everyday through the students teachers and other workers at HC. Sportswise I think we should be making a little better decisions with our teams. Don't get me wrong a lot of our teams are good but a couple sports such as football have really gotten worse since the state championship in 2008 and the next couple years don't look very promising. I think we should invest more into the sports programs and coaches to give the Maroons something more to cheer about every Friday night. It would be nice if we could start winning some state championships as well. The Maroon Platoon is always ready to cheer we just need strong programs to cheer for.

I was a transfer student to Holland Christian coming in as an incoming freshman. I came from a public school and the difference was incredible. I felt extremely comfortable and the students made me feel very welcome. People made an effort to sit by me in class an at lunch. There are cliques but I found that they are loose. There is a lot of inter-clique mingling and most of the "cliques" get along. It is nothing like the cliques were at my old school. The school was also very helpful through my academic troubles. The counselor and principal both took time out of their day specifically to help me find a way to succeed. The teachers are very friendly and creative. The teachers all try to teach in a way that is interesting and inviting. They want you to learn for life not just for a test. Their aim is to help you do well in life. I even enjoyed Latin a lot which surprised me. They always seem to have a way to engage the class which I really love.

Although I have only attended Holland Christian Schools and therefore am bias I must say I love it here. Each teacher I've had seems to care about my character equally if not more than how hard im pushing myself. Students are respectful and it is a great environment to learn in. If your an artist a math whiz or a writing extraordinaire Holland Christian appreciates your gifts and there are multiple ways of expressing your individuality regardless of the subject. I have grown so much spiritually thanks to Holland Christian! The student section is fantastic as well go maroons!

Sending my children to Holland Christian has been the best choice I feel as though I could have made for them. The teacher are so caring well qualified and challenge both of my kids. Holland Christian is very electronically advanced which I feel as though this opens up much mor opportunities for the students. Holland Christian has helped my children grow in their faith by going to laid back "chapels" which are short 20 minutes services three times a week that include singing and hearing from the local and not-so-local ministers and pastors. Yes my kids may complain about the tough classes but Holland Christian is preparing them for college. My children love it there and wouldn't imagine themselves anywhere else.

Both of my sons received an excellent education and were accepted at some of the country's best colleges. When they went to college their GPA increased which I understand is typical of HCHS graduates. I education my sons received to be the very best value I could have received for my money.

I pulled my children out of this school after two years it is very socially competitive with the students and parents. Not the christian charater you would want your children exposed to. Great teachers!

Holland Christian has great academics teachers students and building. There is good community within the newly remodeled building the teachers care about the students and share more of a relationship than teacher and student and though the education is tough it prepares the students for college.

I am a Holland Christian graduate of 2005. The curriculum was challenging and pushed me to become a better student. The staff is willing to go the extra mile for any student to help them succeed. The student body was composed of many cliques. As a student that moved to Holland and started at Holland Christian schools in 5th grade is was very difficult to make friends. Throughout my high school years I had friends transfer to other schools and they found the students more receptive at other schools than at Holland Christian. The art teacher Ms. Ridl is incredible! She makes art enjoyable for any and every student and provides numerous opportunities for students who are interested in pursuing art.

I am currently a senior at Holland Christian High school and I have attended here for my whole education. Its a great experience all my teachers through the years have really cared about me and my relationship with Christ. The tough curriculum has prepared me for college I have been able to take classes that I feel will help me later on. The school is brand new and the technology is the best! each student is given a laptop to keep with them!

Three of my four sons are graduates of Holland Christian High School. Holland Christian valued each of them for who THEY were as students and provided consistent academic and moral counseling tailored to THEIR needs. My kids interests run the gamut from art to physics and ALL were taught by teachers who are outstanding in their fields and compassionate human beings. I could not recommend a school district more highly.

A wonderfull caring community of teachers. With a wide area of expertise they nuture your child in a Christian atmosphere. Holland Christian has been a consistant performer in turning out high school graduates that are college / life ready in all aspects. My mother is a graduate my sister and I are graduates and both of my children are gradutes - I'd do it all over the same again!
