What I love
This house has so much to offer anyone who loves history and elegance. The joists that hold up the floor in the living room are made from ships masts from the merchant ships of the 1800's. Some of the the outdoor steps down to the pool are made from bricks from England and Denmark and were used as ballast for the ships coming to St Croix. They used full rum barrels on the way back! This house is located in the pretty historic port of Christiansted and to watch the boats come in and out and listen to the soft Calipso drifting up from the town below is bliss.More Less
