North Broadway is long established and known for its beautiful older well kept homes. Families tend to stay and neighbors are friendly and watch out for each other. There is a good mix of younger and older homeowners and people take good care of there homes and landscapes. North Broadway boasts Christy Creme at the far north end which is a well established ice cream hang out that has served generations of families. A good activity is to walk to Christy Creme for a treat and then return home. Gunn School is also a long standing institution where second and third generation families have attended. There is a sense of responsibility and long term love and comittment to this east end conclave. Very inviting, giving a sense of permanence and peacefulness with all amenities, groceries, drs., and local vendors within easy access. There are playgrounds within walking distance and the ease and glamour of Omaha is a mere seven miles away should you choose to partake in that city's fine dining, theater, museums, and sports activities. When you've had your fill, you can come home to the peace and quiet this end of town offers.More Less
