My Notes

Perfect home for a large (or small) family in a perfect and quiet Westover neighborhood on a cul-de-sac surrounded by the original farm stone wall and a well landscaped acre. The house is 4,870 sf, has 5 bedrooms, 2 ½ baths with double sinks.
The West Wing addition has two oversized bedrooms, a living room, office and kitchen and two bathrooms for a total of 7 bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The master suite in the West Wing is 25x25 and has its own 25x25 private deck and two skylights. The large living room has an office nook. There is also a full kitchen and an attached laundry room.
The West Wing is independent from the house and can be used as an in-law apartment, for children, or as a rental apartment. The West Wing has its own garage.
The main house master suite has two walk-in closets an attached bathroom, and a walk-out deck. There are 4 other bedrooms (one can be a nursery or third bathroom) and a second bathroom. Both have double sinks.
The large living room has 9 feet ceilings, crown molding, and an attached four-season porch. The dining room also has crown molding and has a door to a beautiful art studio.
The large family room has sliding doors to its own private deck.
The oversized upscale eat-in kitchen has a granite island, a custom made table to match the cabinets and sub-zero refrigerator and granite on all horizontal surfaces. There are windows or doors on three sides ? one leading to the large four season porch and the other to an open deck, and a large skylight.
There are decks off of the master suite, the family room, and a four season porch off the kitchen.
The circular driveway is custom made with pavers from Vermont and surrounds a landscaped island which happens to have a steel statue of two Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream scoopers in the middle, also from Vermont.

There is a kid?s carpeted, heated and air-conditioned 4-season kids playhouse viewable from the kitchen.
The house is protected by having two generators that supply 1500 watts (full power). Each work independently so if one goes down, the other is up. (Never happened.) There are three garage spaces (two are heated) and a circular drive surrounding an island of trees on a cul-de-sac. The house also has an ADP alarm system (also never used.) Although isolated on the cul-de-sac and in a private neighborhood, the Merritt Parkway is minutes away and I-95 and Metro-North are 12 minutes away.
We?re downsizing, so the house can be bought or rented and if it is bought, there could be a built-in renter (us) if you prefer to grow into the space.
According to Zillow comparable houses, the price should be around $1.4 million. There is no broker involved, so please email: Owner's email address is dcamner@gmail.com

What I love about the home

This is a custom designed, full featured home without a lot inside and outside space and a lot of decks as well as the four-season porch. It's big and cozy at the same time. It also includes a lot of lovely family memories.
