Part of a collection of 90 homes that architect William Krisel designed for the Alexander Construction Company in the late 1950s, this home has been carefully restored and updated with assistance from the original architect himself. One of only 5 of this flat roof design in Twin Palms, these were only ever built on corner lots making it unique in the neighborhood and never repeated in future Alexander developments. A casita added early after construction has been updated and redesigned by Krisel, as has the incredible low water landscaping. Walls of glass in the living room pinch a massive masonry fireplace; each room features its own special view. The home features custom designed kitchen and bath cabinetry based on the original plans now housed at the Getty Museum. Original paint colors used on the exterior. Thoroughly updated with new plumbing and electric systems, this home transports you back to the past but is ready for the 21st century. An icon of architectural heritage.  More Less
