The tire swing sure was a lot of fun, hanging from the tree great grandpa planted years ago. I remember the smell of freshly baked apple pie cooling in the window seal of the old home place smelled and it drew me near the kitchen each time. The apple barn was a favorite hiding spot of all the cousins when they came to visit. Things sure have changed in East Brainerd since then. Fast paced living just budding and thriving right down the road does not take away from this country living in the city with all of the services. This 111 year apple farm home has been modernized. The home has large rooms but not the typical open floor plan that all new construction homes offer today. But you will love the character this home offers. This cozy feel you are sure to enjoy. The old apple barn is now a three car garage with an apartment above. One acre in the city with two driveways that can accommodate 20 vehicles. Too much more to mention, but don't settle for new construction on a postage stamp size lot when you can have all of this. Even though this home does not have an open floor plan, it is still open and inviting. PUT THIS ON YOUR SHOPPING LIST!  More Less
