My Notes

Edit
On a clear day the Olympic mountains sound and sunset are reach up a touch this home. Views from this house are from the front porch kitchen dining room and living room. The kitchen has been updated with all new stainless steel appliances. The wood floors on the mainfloor have been refinished to a warm umber glow. The entire house was rewired to current code in December 2013. The back yard is filled with a softly sloping lawn under fruit trees. There is a nice entertainment patio through french doors off the living room in the back yard. The main floor has 2 bedrooms with big closets, wood floors and walls of windows facing the back gardens. The lower floor has the master suite with a fireplace, walkin closets and ensuite bath. An alternate use for this room would be a family room. On this floor there is plenty or storage closets laundry room and entry from the double garage. The garage has plenty more room for more storage and work benches for the hobbyist. This house includes a gardener and property management. Blue Ridge descriptionWith expansive views of Puget Sound, one of Seattle s best parks Carkeek in its back yard, and beautiful homes that were almost all built within twenty years of each other, the Blue Ridge neighborhood of north Seattle has plenty to offer. Just south of Blue Ridge and bordering another stunner of a park, Golden Gardens, North Beach is a little less formal than Blue Ridge, but has similar homes and views. The two neighborhoods are often lumped together as the Blue Ridge/North Beach neighborhood. HistoryAfter he tired of building airplanes, William Boeing decided to dip his toe into the land development market. He bought up a large chunk of land in northwest Seattle and began the Blue Ridge project. Trees were cleared, houses were built, and the wealthy of Seattle moved in. Five of the first homes, which were occupied by Boeing executives, still stand today and are referred to by residents as the castles.  More Less

Market guide

Zillow predicts Blue Ridge home values will rise 5% next year, compared to a 4.8% rise for Seattle as a whole. Among Blue Ridge homes, this home is valued 34.9% more than the midpoint (median) home, and is valued 5.7% more per square foot.

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In Blue Ridge, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold is 67.2% lower than in Seattle, and 75.2% less than the national average. This lower local number could help Blue Ridge home values rise more quickly than other regions in Seattle.
