Many properties do not stay on the market for very long so I do recommend putting in applications to properties you are interested and having all needed material ready as soon as possible.Looking for last minute rentals and trying to move within the next two weeksI have worked with many clients getting them into rental properties within a week or two. If you are looking to move within a week, I can assist you in searching and showing multiple properties and putting in an application on the day off. Most application can take anywhere from 1-3 days (sometimes a week) and we can get you into a property as soon as possible.My current lease requires a 30 days notice before it expiresIt can sometimes be a challenge when property managers only hold the property for about 2-3 weeks while some places require a 30 day notices before you are able to move out. Many client do not want to put in a 30 day notices before finding a property, if you do not want to risk this method, you might want to consider renting the property a few weeks in advance so you can secure a property. This does mean you will be paying for double rent but it reduces the risk of not being able to find a property. Another option would be to put in your 30 day notices and start looking for properties about 2-3 weeks before you are planning to move. If you are planning to do this method, I highly recommend that you make sure you do not have evictions in the past and your credit is in good standing. I cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted Having a hard time finding rental properties or have been looking for a very long timeI am one of many Realtors here in Vegas that work with the rental market. We have access to properties that are listed in the MLS database. When you call different ads on Craigslist, Zillow, Hotpads or other websites you are calling different Realtors doing the same job. I highly recommend clients to work with a realtor you are comfortable with and it makes our job easier to assist you in searching for a home.
