Perfectly located near Tell City, but with the privacy usually found further out in the country, this home and two acres +/- is perfect for a growing family or those who just want a little more space to call home.The home was originally built in 1973. We purchased it in 2009 and took it down to the studs on the main floor, replacing nearly all the walls and all flooring.  The kitchen, entryways, bathrooms, laundry room and hallways are tile.  The living room and original bedrooms have new carpet. The exterior was also updated, with new vinyl siding and a new roof. Windows were also replaced during our renovation.We also added a master bedroom suite onto the ranch-style home. This includes a gas fireplace,a cathedral ceiling, hardwood floors in the bedroom and nursery/office, a walk-in closet, and master bath with heated tile floors.We also updated part of the basement. It includes a kitchenette, full bath, and den space.  There is also lots of great storage located in the 1,196 foot space.The home has a living room, kitchen/dining room combination, a separate laundry room, attached  2-car garage with brand new (2/2014) overhead doors and openers, 4 bedrooms, three full baths, a partially finished basement with walk-out entrance and lots of storage.  The outside has a 16' x 16' rear deck with access off the dining room and a covered front porch.We're located on a seemingly-private gravel road with great neighbors and plan to live on the adjacent property, so we're looking for more GREAT neighbors! We love the location, but are building a new place nearby to meet our changing needs.Appliances can be negotiated.Serious inquires only, please!
