AC almost never needed; just open the windows and the breeze from the hills will cool the home. Easy access to both 280 and 101. Half Moon Bay is about 30 mins away, San Francisco is about 35 mins, and San Jose about 45 mins.Neighborhood Description
Very quiet and pleasant neighborhood. Enjoy stunning view of San Francisco, the Bay and the hills while you run or walk in the area. The neighborhood schools were very good for our daughter. She went to Heather Elementary (San Carlos) and Carlmont High School (in Belmont). These schools prepared her for UC Berkeley to get Bachelor and Johns Hopkins University to get a PhD. She is now a Professor at George Washington University in DC. So, we clearly think that San Carlos schools were great.More Less
