Beautiful 1973 home, set high on the hillside of Dubuque St. overlooking the Iowa City Park from across the river. Private drive (winter plowing taken care of by owner). Three neighbors live on the private drive. The home offers a unique floor plan with high ceilings, including 3 bedrooms (one with gas fireplace), 4.5 bathrooms, 2 living room areas (one with a wood burning fire place and a bar, the other with a large flat screen TV), and an exercise room equipped with a treadmill (or can be turned into an office). These amenities are laid out throughout 2 floors of the house. The home also offers an enclosed all seasons deck with a gas fire place room looking out toward the river and the park. Connected to the all seasons room is a small open air deck, with a natural gas outlet for a grill. Attached 1 stall garage + car port in front of the garage entrance. There is also a separate parking area for up to 2 additional cars. The home comes furnished (large dining room table and chairs for 10, couch, living room chairs/tables, beds, TVs, decorations). Appliances include stainless steel refrigerator, gas burning stove, two electric ovens, a dishwasher, and a stainless steel microwave oven. The home also has a mother-in-law suite below the two floors that are for rent in the walkout basement with a separate entrance, which will be retained for owners use, primarily for storage, but occasionally, the owners will stay there (roughly 10 to 15% of the year).
