What I love
I've worked really hard on the lawn and the exterior of the house as well as numerous updates and upgrades to the interior. House sits on a lot and a half, making the front and back yard larger than the majority of the homes on the street. Ferndale is a great city, homes are kept up, close to park, back yard has a small pond and lot of privacy.Neighborhood Description
Cute neighborhood with active residents who keep the exteriors of their properties clean and up to date. There is a great park across the street and a great mix of young and old residents. Ferndale is a fantastic city with great resturaunts, entertainment, and the city services and events are second to none in southeatern Michigan. This is truely one of the hubs of Metro-Detroit. Downtown Detroit is 15 minutes or less, you can been to the Novi area (west-side) in 20, eastside and onthe lake in 15 minutes, and to Pontiac in 15 minutes. Of course, Royal Oak also offers entertainment resturaunts and a great downtwoen as well. The Detroit Zoo is in walking distance as well. The NW corner of Ferndale is a great neighborhood with the gorgeous homes fgrom Pleasant Ridge within walking distance. This is a great walking and exercise area.More Less
