It was designed by Kenneth Gordon, who was an architect for the well known Pasadena building firm J.H. Woodworth & Son. This 3 bed 2 bath home has 1842 square feet, and is uniquely set up with a master suite that possibly can be turned into a mother-in-law unit, and opens to the enclosed backyard. The bead-board plate railed dining room is adjacent to a centralized library office room, which is incredibly convenient since there is no need to use a bedroom as a home office anymore. The eat-in kitchen has custom built maple cabinets and nook, with seats that double as storage, and the kitchen conveniently opens to the backyard. The backyard is great for entertaining, with plenty of room for bar-b-ques, lounging, evening fires at the rear fireplace, and especially enjoying the "lazy ell" pool, which is solar heated, with the solar panels on the detached 2 car garage. Other features include hardwood floors, moldings and built-ins, a Batchelder tile fireplace and a newer chimney from 1995, dual paned windows, copper plumbing, and central air and heat..............................................................................

Neighborhood Description
Bungalow Heaven was the first neighborhood Historic District in Pasadena. It consists of approximately 800 families living in mainly Craftsman style bungalows built in the early 1900's. The area is well known throughout the Craftsman Architectural Style community. Each year the association opens 6 to 8 houses for viewing during our annual house tour in April. The streets are lined with mature trees that arch over the roadways.
