Directly across the river from downtown Newburyport. Newly updated and remodeled classic Georgian in unique waterfront neighborhood. Zillow photo is prior to renovation. Walk to Salisbury Town docks and Rings Island Marina. Short walk to downtown Newburyport.
New two story addition with added master bath and walkin closet. Master has 8 skylights, new windows and slider that opens to large private balcony with views of the Merrimac River and Plum Island. All new wood flooring/carpet, laundry room and tile bathroom.
Front to back open first floor has been updated with all new windows, kitchen, wood flooring, new staircase to 2nd floor and enlarged pantry. A recently completed family room at the rear of the house is open and bright with all new subfloor, (5) new windows, new carpeting, built in dry bar, custom moulding and a pellet stove.
The new addition also contains a mudroom/entry area with large closet and a 1/2 bath with tile floors. The mudroom leads to the back patio area or to the newly extended front to back farmers porch.
The home has a nice size lot for the area. The lot is level and has enough off street parking for 6-8 cars. There is a large shed in the back for storage.
The house has a crawl space type basement that houses a 250 gallon oil tank, newer furnace and hot water tank. The house also uses propane for cooking and has a propane fireplace in the living room.
