My Notes

This house is located in Nashua's North End. A quiet street close to Rt.3 and downtown. Great for commuters.
This gambrel home has cedar siding, an updated kitchen, fireplaces in both the living room and dinning room (the DR has a wood stove insert for energy efficiency, the LR has a custom wrought iron enclosure for when not in use and, a fan to avoid back drafts when in use). Both living room and dinning room have built ins for storage, organization, and display of your collectibles. The LR has a custom made granite and marble hearth that is definitely the focal point as soon as you step into the house. The wood mantle is a big and beautiful. The dinning room has a beautifully maintained hardwood floor and a wonderful window seat, perfect for kiddos to sit and read, or puppies to look out onto the front garden while they wait for you to come home. Pocket doors and french doors enclose the DR, offering a perfect space for homework and surprise birthday parties. Gourmet kitchen features custom maple cabinets, granite countertops, subway tile backsplash, gas cooktop, downdraft exhaust, Bosch appliances and tile floor. A cook's kitchen for sure. Seating for seven right in the kitchen because we all know that the kitchen is the heart of the home. The exercise room is off the living room, cleverly concealed behind glass doors with a skylight for brightness and fresh air. The Family/ Game room is almost an extension of the outdoors and the pool table stays, but the arcade machine does not... The wall to wall windows give you the feeling of being outdoors but the wonderful baseboard heating ensures you can use it all year long. This is the only room in the house that has laminate flooring. A 3/4 bath/laundry with beautiful cabinets and finishes rounds off the first floor's main living area; perfect for when guests use the pool. They can shower and leave the wet pool towels (and shower towels) in the washing machine, less for you to do....Upstairs you will find the 4 bedrooms. A suite w/ 3/4 bath & walk-in closet (grandparents, au pair, teenager???), and two good sized bedrooms (w/ closets and hardwood floors) that would share the full family bath (tub for little ones). The larger of the two rooms also has built ins to cut down on the furniture and clutter. It's bright and breezy so keep the windows open during the Spring and Fall. You might need the ceiling fans in the Summer if you don't want to use the central AC. But the AC works great! The master bedroom is nothing short of a retreat w/ full bath & w/in closet with radiant floor heating and oversized claw foot tub. The master suite also has its own bright and beautiful living space with four skylights, ceiling fan (cable and wifi ready too), gorgeous maple floors, radiant heat and wall to wall windows overlooking the very private backyard. It even has it's own staircase leading outside, in the event that an evening swim is what your heart desires... The fenced in backyard has a huge mahogany deck with built in benches that offer extra seating, an inground gunite pool (new pool filter installed Summer 2014), and a pool house complete with utility room, small changing area and "refreshment stand". . Two storage sheds, two Koi ponds and many beautiful perennial flower beds and grassy areas.There is an irrigation system (almost completely replaced/updated in Summer 2014). This house is a little piece of paradise, in the heart of the city. It's a great house in a great location, lovingly updated and well maintained. Pool (heated) completely renovated Summer 2015. 

What I love about the home

One of my favorite features of this house is its location. This home is located minutes away from Downtown Nashua while still being right off the highway. It's located on a very quiet street with long time residents as neighbors who show pride of ownership. It is a peaceful oasis while still being right in the heart of the city. Minutes to the movies, minutes to the mall. Restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies are all just minutes away. Less than an hour from Logan airport, and less than an hour from Hampton Beach...you just can't beat that. Another wonderful feature of this home is its layout. All bedrooms are upstairs and the main floor, while not completely open concept, allows for a nice flow of family and friends. The kitchen has two seating areas and the dinning room can accommodate a table that seats 12. Pocket doors, french doors, built ins, and updated lighting make the dinning room a multiple use space that can be enjoyed every day and not only on special occasions. The wood stove insert is a great source of extra warmth in the Winter and the multiple vents keep it wonderfully cool in the Summer. New Renewal by Andersen windows and screens, along with custom wood blinds were added in 2012 to complement the age of the house while making it energy efficient. Wood floors are in beautiful condition and make it a breeze to clean too. The built in bench is also a great place for pets to lay and enjoy the view of the squirrels as they run around the front yard... that room will be your favorite, for sure.
