This home is a beautifully maintained example of early 1900's workmanship and charm. The home features a classic open floor plan with three large bedrooms, separate dining room, full (unfinished) basement, den, and large family room, and newer appliances throughout. The home sits on an extra deep lot with additional yard space added and professional landscaping performed in 2005. The backyard offers direct access to a walking/bike path that makes for easy stroll to both downtown Highland Park and the Ravinia Festival. The home has vinyl siding with upgraded trim/corner posts, a brand new roof (added in 2005), and a large 2.5 car detached garage.

What I love about the home

We especially enjoy the detailed craftsmanship of the home including the crown moldings found in every room. We added a sitting/tandem room off one of the larger bedrooms in 2005 that makes for a great upstairs play area for children and could be used as a fourth bedroom. The lower level has a den that is also a wonderful play area for kids (keeps toy clutter out of the main areas of the home.) We enjoy the easy access to Ravinia in the summer and utilizing the beautiful walking/biking path directly behind the home.
