Traditional home in beautiful Silver Triangle area of Studio City, s. of Ventura Blvd. Beautiful trees, GORGEOUS pool, upstairs separate complete apartment great for Live in nanny or rental income ($12,000 per year). Backyard garage is beautifully converted guest house/office with ample storage area. Main house has two bedrooms, front yard is fenced in with jasmine growing. Perfect house for a couple or family with one or two kids. Great house for writers or other people who work at home. Big fireplace in LR keeps house cozy in winter, Huge trees in front yard keep it cool in summer (and central air). our trees turn a beautiful orange and red in the fall- feels like New England.
Neighborhood Description
This is a gorgeous neighborhood with old growth trees and green lawns. Walking distance to cafes and shops on Ventura Blvd. (Loteria just opened on Laurel Canyon and Ventura, pinkberry, Trader Joe's, American Apparel, CVS, great bookstore, Urban Outfitters, Pier 1 and a lot of unique boutiques!) Safe and quiet across the street from the hills of Fryman canyon. Plenty of street parking, neighborhood of industry professionals and actors, Oscar winning neighbors next door!. Best elementary school in Los Angeles county. It has been a gift to live here, ive started a family since moving here as a single person and I will always love this house and all the wonderful memories. My daughter now wants a horse, so we are moving to the country, otherwise I'd never leave!

What I love about the home

Great energy, light, user friendly, original moldings and hardwood floors. Across the street from Fryman canyon access to beautiful hiking trails. Great POOL!! completely redone, almost looks like a tranquil pond. Covered patio and grass area in backyard make it an amazing place for outdoor parties day or night. Ive improved all the hardware and fixtures since moving in- Huge living room and Formal dining room- wonderful house to entertain any season. We also added a front yard fence- good for chid and pet safety or added privacy. Have never had any theft, very safe, friendly neighborhood, people keep their houses up in the neighborhood and it is nice and quiet. Its a very serene wonderful retreat, hard to believe we are in a city!
