Backyard is private secluded hideaway and backs to wet weather creek with a large deck and patio. the home has vaulted ceiling in Living with massive rock fireplace. April 2011 the entire inside, ceilings, exterior, doors, trim, cabinets, EVERYTHING was repainted! Kitchen redone a couple of years ago including counter tops with stainless appliances including stainless refrigerator. In April of 2011, Porcelain tile (that looks like hardwood) but more durable and less maintenance was installed in every bedroom and closet. White Marble looking large 18x18 porcelain tile was installed everywhere else in the house (also in April of 2011). All light fixtures (inside and out) were replaced and also the ceiling fans in all 4 rooms inside the house and even the fan/light on the deck were replaced. In the bathrooms, the showers were totally re-tiled with white subway tiles and inserted shampoo boxes and the tubs themselves were refinished and look brand new. Large owner's suite with roomy bath. You really have to see the huge amazing backyard and the neighborhood. You can barely even see your side neighbors and definitely can't see the ones in the back. Walking distance to Balcones park and pool. Less than a mile from the Domain mall and the new Whole Foods that is being built right next to it. Less than 2 miles from the Kramer light rail train station. Very close to IBM, National Instruments, Apple, Dell, Google, HP…

Less than 2 miles from the Kramer light rail train station. Very close to IBM, National Instruments, Apple, Dell, Google, HP. I used to live down South in Circle C and also Shady Hollow Estates and believe it or not, my family has enjoyed Walnut Crossing more. Don't get me wrong, the neighborhood has much more inexpensive and smaller homes but the neighborhood seems to stick together and most everyone is working on their yards on the weekends. It just seems like everyone is doing different upgrades to their houses/yards and that will always help the value of the neighborhood to keep going upwards. Beyond that, Summit Elementary has broken awards for being such a great elementary school and it is easily within walking distance. The middle school (Murchison) and High School (Anderson) are probably the 2nd or 3rd best in the entire city! When I first moved North I thought we were so far from everything (downtown, Zilker park, etc) but as it turns out, we're closer to the lakes here and only 9 miles down Mopac from 6th Street.More Less
