Be part of History by living in this one of a kind historic Third Avenue home. Built for a state senator in 1887. This home went through a major remodel in 1996. This home was brought back to look like the Victorian period but includes much more. This home was hand crafted to include modern amenities and better spaces. It's hard to compete with this Historic Gem. Located in the town only two homes are on this block. Built of Brick allows you to enjoy a much lower cost of maintenance compared to a woodsided home. Drive by and you see a private gated drive off 3rd Ave that leads you to a 4 car covered carport large enough for an RV. You could park up to 8 cars in this driveway. While parking is no issue, you also have a nice fenced in lawn and dog run. Step onto the covered porch and walk inside to a beautiful entrance looking into a large double parlor which has large bay windows and original hardwood flooring. The dinning room is just off the kitchen which is very open and spacious for a Victorian home. The kitchen features custom KraftMaid cabinets, double Jenn-Air range/ovens, built in commercial refrigerator/freezer, and Italian flooring. The home used to have separate living quarters that were connected with another large family room that opens to the courtyard with a wall of glass doors. This room has great appeal with its tall ceilings. Just in back is another room that could also be used for many purposes or turned back into a guest area.
