This is a perfect horse property, with a 3-stall barn, 2+ acres of fenced pasture and riding ring on an otherwise wooded 5 acre lot with stream bordering the back. The house is located towards the end of a nearly mile-long street that ends in a cul-de-sac, so there's hardly any traffic. But it is a walkable distance to elementary/middle school and the Chapel Hill-Carrboro schools are first-rate. It was appraised in July 2014 at $870K. We can't account for why Zillow Estimate is so much lower. We have set the Make Me Move price much higher than market value because we would never want to leave this house unless we got an offer we truly couldn't refuse.
Neighborhood Description
Development is a single winding, mile-long street with 16 properties all with 5 or more acres (this is the minimum lot size as it is located in the watershed). There is a 2-mile trail surrounding the neighborhood with entrance to a large city park 1/2 mile from the house. Park includes baseball/soccer/tennis/volleyball/large pond/walking trails/frisbee golf. Neighbors are very friendly and several others own horses.
