What I love
This floorplan is perfect for families, and for entertaining, in fantastic neighborhood (see description below). The front half of the first floor features beautiful formal spaces, accessible to the casual family area in the back of the house (or not - if you are having a party there are doors to close to the family area so you can keep your party prep behind the scenes!). Beautiful family area sold us on the property - kitchen is airy and open, and the family area is an extension of it, with new french doors that open to the back patio and fenced yard with playset, so the chef never has to be removed from the family and can keep an eye on kids playing out back. Desk in kitchen is ideal for homework station or crafting area. Upstairs bedrooms are bright and spacious. Master suite is accessible to other rooms but also a private sanctuary. Bedroom windows are large and look at beautiful large trees in the front and back yard. Laundry chute makes chores much simpler. Basement has fantastic storage - attic also available. Basement area is full footprint of house and a great place for a play or rec room. Exercise room has two windows, and main area has two windows. Side yard is hill that could easily be excavated if you wish to add an egress window and transform basement to a bedroom space/in-law suite.
