What I love
House sits atop a knoll that towers above most, if not all others in the neighborhood area. If you look at the satellite view, you will notice that the next house, within a narrow area to the North to NorthEast is possible to be close to a mile through trees and green mother Earth. This part of the vast wilderness corrider through portions of Chicopee makes it a preferred piece of property and mind. Wild animals occassionally seen, but rackoons and skunks rarely. Lots of birds and squirrels entertain daily. Great country like views and atmosphere, yet Wal-Mart easily with-in walking distance along with CVS, Walgreens, 7-11, Boston Market, River Bend Medical and Duncan Donuts. BJ's, Sunoco, FLRoberts Car Wash, Banks, U-Haul, Dental and Child Care, plus Pike entrance close by, as well as Chicopee Comp. High School.Neighborhood Description
Very suburb bordering country like neighborhood. Low traffic area with normally quiet atmosphere. Numerous routes available to enter and exit neigborhood. Recent improvements to sewage lines and road surfaces. Electric company in process of replacing old lattice steel towers with less unsightly poles, raising the height of the lines and improving aesthetic view. Western Electric says that there will be many improvements to the appearance of the right of way property; to include grass, shrubs, and trees. An appealing fence has already been erected.More Less
