What I love
The view!!!! The house sits along the Susquehannah River, home to a wide variety of waterfowl, herons, and birds of prey. In fact seeing 15 bald eagles sitting on the river itself is priceless! And the gorgeous sunsets....leave you speechless. Also the historic paddle wheel ferry boat crosses the river to link Millersburg with Liverpool. The borough regularly maintains the park in front of the house along the river- a half block away is a swinging foot bridge to takes you to picnic pavillions park benches, playground, and a baseball/softball field. Also there is a walking trail along the historic canal.Neighborhood Description
The neighbors are very loving and people oriented and would gladly talk with you and render assistance when needed. It is a small town so there is truly that small town feel. Many event are held along the river every year from Arts and crafts to the annual fireworks display... and you have front row seats! Many people enjoy walking along the street because it is such a perfect spot to relax. There is a swinging foot bridge to take you to a very quaint recreation park; complete with softball field, picnic pavillions, restrooms, and a nature trail along the canal. The river also is a great spot for anglers to catch bass, walleye, and catfish; for boating, kyaking; or just watching the sun set.More Less
