Designed by the noted architect, Norman Foote Marsh, this charming home was selected for the Bungalow Heaven Home Tour as a fine example of craftsman architecture.
Neighborhood Description
There is a collective pride among neighbors in this historic neighborhood. People take care of their properties and look out for others. This is also a wonderfully diverse neighborhood, which we love. The house is mere minutes from great institutions such as Caltech and The Huntington Library. We've biked to both Eaton Canyon and JPL. Washington Blvd. is also a great thoroughfare with myriad nuthouses, cafes, bakeries, markets and shops.

What I love about the home

We love the home because it is old we're surrounded by history every day. We are proud to own this home - one of three notable homes on the block. It has also been published (along with the other two by Norman Foote Marsh) in an architectural tour guidebook by a local architectural historian. The previous owners (two owners ago) took great care of it and updated it beautifully. The kitchen is wonderful to use with all built in and professional Viking appliances. The backyard is ample with countless possibilities. With a lot size of 8,000+ sq. feet there is room enough for a pool or sizeable addition. We enjoy living in a historic district and our neighbors are terrific as well. The house also has a gorgeous old Pasadena Oak on the property and is surrounded by lush foliage which keeps it temperate year round.
