Built in 1940 this single family 2 bedroom ranch style home is on a quiet dead end street with full unfinished basement includes washer/dryer hook ups. Photos do not do the property justice.
Someone stole most of the aluminum siding; the remaining has been removed. The wood siding underneath only needs a light scraping and a coat of your favorite color paint or stain.
Interior needs cosmetic repairs; the roof was replaced 5 years ago, Furnace and Hot Water Tank are less than 10 years old. Some windows have been replaced with new vinyl replacement windows just last year. Electrical has been upgraded to a 100 amp service; new riser, meter can, circuit breaker panel, electrical outlets have also been upgraded. Side and rear windows have security bars.
Decent sized fenced in rear yard with open parking.
House is currently occupied at $600 a month by a long term tenant whom will freely vacate within 30 days of sale of property; please do not disturb the tenant; he is a veteran that works nights, or the neighbors.
This is a great neighborhood; very low crime rate in this area for the City of Detroit and the neighbors are friendly and watch out for each other.
Close to bus stop, US Post Office, Shopping and many fast food restaurants major freeways, just minutes from downtown Detroit.
Yearly property owners insurance runs about $1,100. Property taxes are about $3,400 a year and are current through Winter 2011. Water bill is also current. $12,000 Cash; all reasonable offers will be considered.
