The continental flavor of this elegant country manor will appeal to those who appreciate the best of what European design has to offer coupled with nearly every contemporary innovation and convenience one could desire.
This one-of-a-kind, nearly 18,000-square-foot home is superbly situated on four level acres of gently rolling lawns with grand views of a neighboring mansion, manicured gardens and, where water meets sky, languorous sailboats plying Long Island Sound.
Visitors passing through the gated entrance into the courtyard will be charmed by traditional brick construction and limestone quoins capped by slate roofing. There is a columned entrance portico with an upstairs balcony. Stepping through hand-carved mahogany doors, theyll arrive inside the entry foyer with its grand, 18-foot Doric columns and imported marble flooring.
