My Notes

We are selling an elegant 1br in prime Park Slope, 1 block from Prospect Park! It is on the 4th floor of 130 8th Avenue, one of the nicest and best run full service co-op buildings in the neighborhood (elevator, doorman, on-site superintendent, laundry room, bike storage, etc.). Visit our blog at http://parkslope1b.blogspot.com for a complete description of the place and a virtual tour.
Neighborhood Description
Park Slope has been consistently rated one of the best neighborhoods in the entire country (ranked #1 by New York Magazine, see: http://nymag.com/realestate/neighborhoods/2010/65374/index1.html). Restaurants and bars abound but the feel is distinctly residential, and Prospect Park is just steps away. Every season has its charms - from springtime at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, to free summer concerts in the park, to strolls in the fall foliage, to ice skating in the wintertime. And, of course, there is the green market at Grand Army Plaza every Saturday.

What I love about the home

We love lots of things about this place, and we have prepared a blog at http://parkslope1b.blogspot.com to tell you about them. Please visit it!

    Market guide

Zillow predicts Park Slope home values will increase 2.5% next year, compared to a 3.4% rise for New York as a whole.

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In Park Slope, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold is 108.9% greater than in New York, and 50.2% less than the national average. This higher local number may prevent Park Slope home values from rising as quickly as other regions in New York.
