Tastefully updated throughout with an open floor-plan, vaulted ceilings in the upstairs living room and a huge family room downstairs. The master bedroom with a private three quarter bathroom has spectacular views of the pool. Other updates include: kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, paint, furnace, A/C, landscaping, appliances and pool liner. The back yard is completely fenced with a separate fenced in area on the side of the home for kids to play without having access to the pool. Sought after neighborhood near parks, lakes, schools and transportation.

Yes, the neighborhood is full of children of all ages.
How would you describe your neighborhood?
Our neighborhood is a quiet, welcoming, family neighborhood with lots of parks and little outside traffic. It?s a typical suburban neighborhood but has easy access to downtown Eden Prairie and a short commute to Minneapolis/St. Paul.
Are there baby-sitters and/or daycare/pre-schools nearby?
Yes, several although we?ve never researched any of them.
What are your favorite nearby restaurants?
Kona for sushi, the Gold Nugget for pub fare and drinks, Lion?s Tap for burgers, Baker?s Ribs for BBQ and Wildfire for a steakhouse or date night. Champp?s and Redstone also have great patios for outdoor dining.
What about commuting times and distances? Is there convenient access to the public transit system?
There is a short commute to the Mall of America or MSP airport, Lake Minnetonka, Minneapolis, or any of the Southern or Western metro area suburbs.
The Southwest Transit Station is a great alternative to driving if you work in downtown Minneapolis and even provides rides to and from downtown for Twins games and other events.
 

What I love about the home

What have you enjoyed most about this house? The living rooms are large and versatile. The tri-level split makes the upper levels feel very open and bright, while the lower levels remain private and great spaces to relax. The number of bedrooms makes it easy to add an office and/or exercise room and makes it a great home for a family to grow in to. The pool is very relaxing and fun in the summers. The pool area is completely fenced in with a separate yard where kids can play without access to the pool. What have you enjoyed most about the neighborhood/Community? The large park outside of the back yard is great for walking dogs or allowing kids to play basketball, volleyball, etc. There are many walking/biking/running paths nearby including Purgatory Creek which circles two lakes. The area is nice and quiet while providing easy access to the Eden Prairie mall area and to freeways. Minneapolis is only 15-20 minutes away. The Southwest Transit Station is great for commuting downtown. What are your favorite shopping areas? Eden Prairie Mall, Home Goods, and several grocery stores are less than 5 minutes away. Have you made any improvements to the property? We installed new carpets 3 years ago and have made several cosmetic improvements to both the inside and outside including landscaping (complete overhaul of the landscaping in the fenced in pool area), painting, replacing trim and updating light fixtures.
