Beautifully restored historic Hancock colonial near Jiminy Peak. Large, fireplaced living room, formal dining room, and a kitchen any cook would love. Four bedrooms and 2.5 updated baths. Central A/C. Pleasant seasonal stream meanders back and forth across the western border, according to town map. Wonderful attention to details. Neighborhood Description
Very rural feel, yet well-maintained and plowed road, easy access to shopping. Jiminy is just 1/2 mile up the road! Lots of farmhouses, with pasture and mountain views. Downtown Pittsfield is 15-20 minutes to the south; Williamstown 10-15 minutes to the north. The Berkshire Mall is about 15 minutes away over the soon-to-be-completed new connector road. Just off of Rt. 43 gives easy access to all points in NY and to southern Berkshire. having Ioka so close by is like having your own farm without having to do all the work. Absolutely the best balance of convenience and country living, historic feel and today's luxuries.
 

What I love about the home

Great combination of all the historic feel but with all of today's updates and amenities. The kitchen is spectacular. Love that pot-filler! Everyone wants to gather around the fireplace after a day on the slopes. Ioka Valley Farm is right around the corner, with fresh veggies, pumpkin picking and corn maze, cut your own Christmas trees, and fresh maple syrup!
