My Notes

Spacious renovated 1 bedroom with a new kitchen and bathroom. Very bright south facing top floor space on a quiet tree lined block. Stone tiled shower and bathroom, custom made cherry wood bar, large closets, and sunken living room perfect for entertaining. Price and location is truly a fantastic deal!

What I love about the home

After 12 years in the city, this has been by far my favorite apartment because of the light, the layout and the neighborhood. The bright south and east exposures are what I love most about this apartment. The lovely 19th c. church directly across the street is the shortest building on the block, so the light streams in from 11am-5pm in the winter and 9am-7pm in the summer. It's so nice to live in Midtown without feeling like you live inside the Grand Canyon! The apartment layout makes sense: it's a rectangle, not an strange L or U-shape, so my furniture doesn't make me feel claustrophobic. I enjoy entertaining, so I love that I can close off my bedroom with the french doors when I want to or leave the place open. I also like that the spaces for the bathroom and kitchen are discrete from the main living spaces. I really appreciate the windows in both, whether I'm steaming the broccoli or steaming the mirror. Lastly, I love the peacefulness of a top floor apartment on a quiet side street, the fantastic Indian restaurants of "Curry Hill," and the best floor neighbors on the east side!
