My Notes

Every detail was considered in the buildout of this massive loft at SkyLofts an industrial building constructed in 1929 and a landmark in the TriBeCa skyline. This 3 Bedroom, 3.5 Bath residence towers above its neighbors with sunshine and city views east and south and river views west. Every single feature in this loft was custom-designed creating a home that is both grand in proportion yet human in scale. The living space measures 90 feet across comprising living, dining and entertaining spaces. The circular flow of the layout takes advantage of the loft's overall square shape. Steel casement windows, 12 ceilings and wide plank wood floors complement modern living in an industrial setting. A home office is complete with wood-burning fireplace. The gourmet kitchen has every amenity one expects. The bedrooms are large with good storage. It is quite easy to create a fourth bedroom. The building employs a full time doorman and boasts a large roofdeck for building residents.  More Less

      Market guide

Zillow predicts Tribeca home values will rise 6.6% next year, compared to a 2.9% rise for New York as a whole. Among Tribeca homes, this home is valued 201.2% more than the midpoint (median) home, and is valued 37.8% more per square foot.

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In Tribeca, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold is 919.6% higher than in New York, and 143.3% higher than the national average. This higher local number may prevent Tribeca home values from rising as quickly as other regions in New York.
