Our home is attractive inside and out. It just received a sage green body paint job with white trim. New dual pane low-e windows that are a casement style. We also insulated the home prior to the new paint job with blown in insulation. The rear of our home is adorned with large panel windows for lots of easterly light. We rarely turn on any lights during the day. Our home has an open floor plan with a large sandstone faced fireplace. Dining area flows into the living room space which has an area for a game table and a niche for a piano. Bedrooms are very large and the front bedroom has two closets for two boys and the middle bedroom has a girls? vanity built in. First owner must have had three kids, two boys and one girl. Common bathroom is pink and powder blue tile from the 50?s and very retro. All the tile is in decent condition. Master bedroom is off the living room and has its own master bath which has been updated recently. Master bath has access to back garden if one would like to add a spa for late night dips.
Attached to the garage is a Granny unit which includes kitchenette, Living room, bedroom, laundry room with toilet connected to bedroom.
Basement is about 350sq/ft and has an additional area for a wine cellar which could be finished off to properly store all your Napa Valley wine acquisitions. Furnace and water heater are in the basement. Both units have been replaced in the last 5 years.
Rear garden is terraced for entertaining under a large old oak tree. There is a drive thru carport which is handy for storing firewood and BBQ. We often BBQ throughout the year. We mostly park in the drive and on the street for convenience. Garage is used for storage and work shop.
Neighborhood Description
This neighborhood is secluded but very close to downtown Napa. We enjoy westerly views of sunsets and cooling evening winds. Our home is off the beaten track of the Silverado Trail. We are on a quiet street with hardly any traffic except the traffic from the 7 homes on our short block. All the homes have close to a quarter acre each and nice big lawns out front. We chose this house because of the proximity to Napa proper but have a private feeling street of the fifties.
 
What I love about the home
We love the neighborhood and how quiet it is. Very little traffic but so close to Copia, downtown Napa, and the Silverado Trail.
