My Notes

Edit
Unbelievable charm in this big, beautiful vintage brick house. Check out the huge exposed beamed living room and stone fireplace. Enjoy the antique chandeliers and retro tile throughout. This house is well maintained with ample room to roam. Brand new boiler, stunning hard wood floors, cedar lined closets and a great flow. New kitchen, spacious game room, fenced back yard leads to off street parking. Quiet neighborhood very close to downtown.

What I love about the home

This is a beautiful and unique 1929 Tudor house - so much charm with beautiful craftsmanship. All tile, hardwood, stained glass and lighting fixtures are original to the house. This house's character has been very well maintained. All wood trim and windows are original. Super spacious, 4 bedrooms with a finished attic that can be a 5th bedroom. TONS of closet space in cedar lined closets. Living room is HUGE and gorgeous. Neighborhood is quiet, and neighbors are really friendly. The home is located on a quiet street 10 minutes from town and is close to the bus line. New Kitchen and appliances in 2011. New fixtures in master bath in 2011. Electricity updated in 2011. Brand new boiler in 2013.

Market guide

Zillow predicts Crafton Heights home values will increase 6.3% next year, compared to a 3.7% increase for Pittsburgh as a whole. Among Crafton Heights homes, this home is valued 101.2% more than the midpoint (median) home, but is valued 15.6% less per square foot.

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In Crafton Heights, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold is 22.7% higher than in Pittsburgh, and exactly the same as the national average. This higher local number may prevent Crafton Heights home values from rising as quickly as other regions in Pittsburgh.
