My Notes

All brick custom built in 2003. Three bedrooms downstairs (including Master) plus bonus upstairs where current office could be transformed easily into a fourth bedroom. If remaining finished bonus upstairs was up-fitted, a fifth bedroom could easily be added. Two and a half baths downstairs with an unfinished bonus space upstairs plumbed for a third full bath. House is settled on 1.89 acres with farmed land on two sides. To the left of the house is a 150 year old plantation house set on 3+ acres that currently houses a photography studio and is a wonderful neighbor. There are no other immediate neighbors to this semi-rural lot. Inside the house you will find amenities that include: a tile back splash in the kitchen, tile shower in the master bathroom, cork flooring in all bedrooms, window seat built-ins in both upstairs dormers, two-car garage, 300+ sq ft of unfinished space above the garage and attached to upstairs bonus, hardwood floors in majority of first floor, screened back porch, and wraparound front porch, among other amenities. The home has been owned by a single owner since it was built in 2003.

What I love about the home

This house was built on land that had been farmland for centuries but in a neighborhood growing by leaps and bounds over the past two decades. I have loved this house because it has given me and my daughter a large yard in which to play soccer or whatever else she wanted to do. At nearly two acres of perfectly flat land, we could do whatever we wanted, whether it was soccer or basketball or just riding around the yard in the golf cart. I have loved the openness of the upstairs bonus room, where it has become combination playroom/family room/man cave/office/whatever. I have loved the cork flooring in all bedrooms. If you have no idea what cork flooring is, you will love it. It doesn't creak like hardwood or bubble like linoleum or crack like tile tends to over time. You will love the cork flooring. I have also loved the neighborhood, mainly because it's not in a subdivision but it's still right in the middle of a community. It's a well-built, well-maintained house. I know because I was the one who commissioned the builder to build it and I'm the one who maintained it. It's a great house on a great lot in a great community.
