My Notes

Gorgeous bi-level home with a dark wood colored laminate flooring in the open kitchen/dining room/sitting room area, sun room, and upstairs hallway. A custom built large deck on the back of the house walks down to the in-ground pool. In the summer, the lavish landscaping turns the backyard into an arboretum, and you can relax at the pool in privacy. Part of the deck is also reinforced for a hot tub, if you choose to put one in.
The house sits on a quarter acre lot and has a fenced back yard. The yard that backs up the the edge of this yard is quite large, so you don't have houses right in your back yard. You also have a lovely view of the lake, which is privately owned by the houses whose lots border the lake.
The neighborhood is ideal on so many levels. The street is quiet and the neighbors are fantastic. The house is located on a cul de sac, so there is no thru traffic. Also, while you cannot hear passing traffic, the house is only a couple minutes from Hwy. 18, so you have quick and easy access to I-75, Kroger, and a lot of shopping and restaurant options. Likewise, the house is outside Florence city limits, so you don't pay city tax.
The major, recent updates to the house are as follows: the roof is 8 years old and has 30 year dimensional shingles, the HVAC system was installed 3 years ago, the water heater is 4 years old, and the dishwasher was replaced 1 year ago. The house also sits on a poured foundation. The pool has a 230v pump.

What I love about the home

This home has beautiful flooring and an open floor plan that is unique to most bi-levels. The sun room, large back porch that walks down to the in-ground pool, gorgeous view of the lake, and elaborate landscaping give this lovely home a charm comparable to a resort get-away. The house is located on a cul de sac on a quiet street, so there is no thru traffic. The neighborhood is wonderful. This is truly a gem tucked away in the front end of Oakbrook. It's close to Hwy. 18 for ease of access, but you can't see or hear traffic from the highway.
