4. References from your last 3 landlords
5. The first month?s rent, and the last month?s rent and security deposit. The latter two will be held in escrow.
6. I need to meet EVERYONE who will live in the building before I agree to rent it.
7. Every adult who will reside in the building must fill out an application, submit to a credit check, and sign the lease. Each adult must pay a $20 credit report fee.
Finally, please don?t waste my time if you cannot show proof of legal income sufficient to pay the rent, and/or if you have huge credit card balances and/or a history of not honoring your debts. That said, if you have a bankruptcy on your record but your credit report shows you have behaved responsibly since, you are still encouraged to apply.
