Looking for something other than a run-of-the-mill contemporary designed loft in downtown Denver? Then this is it! Designed by architect Alice Starek (whose previous homes have been featured in Natural Home and Mother Earth News magazines), handcrafted by the Rocky Mountain Architectural Artisans Guild and inspired by Gaudi and Dr. Seuss, this home is a work of art! Every feature, finish and even the furnishings have been custom designed and mostly sculpted in place. Despite its whimsicality, the design process was seriously sustainable. Using 99 percent of materials and artisans sourced locally, Starek brought in native woods, commissioned handcrafted custom lighting, and installed handmade mosaic and mirrored tiles designed by local artists. This loft has been designed for entertaining and is featured on TLC's "Surreal Estate". Just steps from the Pepsi Center and Coors Stadium as well as all that downtown has to offer.
