What I love about the home

This is the 3rd best lot in all of Fort Collins to raise kids! Big loop driveway and extremely low traffic, creek for exploring, fossils can be found, raccoons, foxes, coyotes, birds, crawdads, fish, Blue Heron, Black Crested Night Heron, Big Horned Owl, Golden Eagle, etc. Big pond two doors down for fishing or bird watching. Almost free irrigation water is used with an automatic sprinkler system to water the entire 1.7 acres. The lot could be used for horses or 4H projects though none of the previous owners have ever had any large animals. There are about 8 horses in the neighborhood. Though only 1/4 mile from a major intersection, if you are in the backyard on a summer evening it is as if you are in a remote nature area. Mail Creek is one of the last natural creeks within the Fort Collins city limits. It will never be bulldozed and tamed like they did with Spring Creek.
