My Notes

Edit
If you LOVE big old houses-with dark woodwork, unique hardware, open staircases, ornate fireplaces, antique light fixtures, real wood floors, real wood doors, wood siding that has NOT been covered up with vinyl, graciously sized foyers & old-fashioned floor registers...come on in! This century home has been updated electrically & in the bath rooms-but all the character still remains. With a little sanding and staining, & some floor coverings, this could be a true reflection of your vision of the classic old house. (The sellers will consider a floor covering allowance, since the upstairs bedroom floors have been patched & are a little paint-stained). For a century home, there is a surprising amount of closet space & a decently dry basement. The enclosed porches (23x6 in the front, & 20x9 in the back) offer nice sunny sitting areas & some extra space for sipping your morning coffee. The kitchen is bright and open, with a view into the formal dining room. Living room has lovely old dark wooden French doors & a fireplace for some atmosphere & chilly nights. The back yard has plenty of room & backs on to a nice creek. There's also a detached 20x12 one car garage. Nice location right in town; close to Rt. 90, shopping, schools & more!  More Less

Market guide

Zillow predicts Ohio home values will rise 2.8% next year. Among 44041 homes, this home is 15% less expensive than the midpoint (median) home, and is priced 40.5% less per square foot.

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In 44041, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold is 2.6% higher than in Geneva, and 50.6% higher than the national average. This higher local number may prevent 44041 home values from rising as quickly as other regions in Geneva.
