My Notes

Edit
You will be taken by the unique features of this unit. As you come through the private entrance, something rarely found in any Upper East Side building, you come in to soaring 20 foot high ceiling open space. This one bedroom home truly has the essence of a downtown loft, and not only will you enjoy 960 square feet of living space, 2 full bathrooms, a full size washer/dryer, custom designed kitchen w/ breakfast bar, and an over-sized living/dining area, but you will have a quaint private outdoor space and a functioning, wood burning fireplace - these are coveted features in any city apartment. Here, you are steps to the 4/5/6 trains, with cross-town bus service just outside your door. The building does not limit the number of years you can rent the unit, pets are welcome, financing permitted up to 75%, and it can function as a pied-a-terres. This is truly a superb value.
Neighborhood Description
This part of town is two and three express stops from the huzzel and buzzel of Union Square and Tribeca, respectively. However you can retreat to your peaceful and charming street after a day/night out. Fairway has everything you need to make a gourmet meal, and soon Whole Foods will come to help you impress your dinner guests. Steps away from Central Park, and equidistant to the Mayor's mansion (Carl Schuz Park) that overlooks the East River.

What I love about the home

The location is magnificent. It is move-in ready, has a private entrance, full size washer/dryer, and a fireplace!

Foreclosures will be a factor impacting home values in the next several years. In New York, the number of foreclosures waiting to be sold is 54.3% less than in New York Metro, and 76.1% less than the national average.
