Very spacious front living room /dining room. Thiselegant space has a lovely marble fireplace, the Victorian trim,hardwood floors and chandeliers set off the 12 foot ceilingsnicely. There's a nice set of tall bay windows overlooking thetemple (Konko Church) across the street. The L-shaped front roomhas a nice view of Twin Peak, room for a large dining room tableand a space that could be made into a home office with a largecloset. KITCHEN: The kitchen -renovated in 2011 with cherry woodcabinets, black granite counter, dishwasher, double stainless steelsink, microwave above the gas stove and a stainless steel side byside with ice maker in the door refrigerator. It is also veryspacious with new brazilian cherry wood floors, a decorativeFranklin stove and a stunning stain glass window above the kitchensink. Large main bedroom with a walk-in closet and good-sized nookoften used for a desk. This room also connects to a large deckoverlooking the interior of the block and the backyard below. Thesecond bedroom is also off the bathroom. It is average size butdoes not have a closet. However there are two additional closetsavailable for use in this flat. Bathroom has Victorian wooddetailing, good linen closet, large window and a tub/shower.GARAGE: The very large garage is shared with the unit below. Thisunit has the space to the left of garage door and includes amplestorage. There's a washer/dryer here shared with the lowerunit. It is not coin-operated but residents pay the utilities.NEIGHBORHOOD AMENITIES Excellent location 3 blocks from shopping onFillmore Street and Lafayette Square. Two blocks from Japantown andAMX multiplex. Central location for commuting anywhere in the City.Good fast public transit to the downtown. While the majority ofPacific Heights is characterized by private residences, plenty ofapartments in Lower Pacific Heights make the area accessible toyoung professionals. The more southern situated apartments in lowerPacific Heights also have the advantage of being much closer tohighways and downtown, while still being in proximity to theamenities that provide such a great lifestyle. The nearby sectionof Fillmore Street is like the neighborhood shopping street forPacific Heights with landmarks like the Clay Theatre PARKS: PacificHeights features two parks, Lafayette and Alta Plaza, each withspectacular views of the city. They are each a short walk from thisflat. JAPANTOWN is the area, straddling the few blocks just northof Geary and south of Sutter, between Laguna and Fillmore, hasshrunk somewhat from its pre-World War Two heyday. But almost12,000 residents of Japanese descent still call the neighborhood"home", which makes for a small but still-vibrantcommunity and a wonderful selection of restaurants within nearbymall complex with ample available parking for visitors more by thenewcolonist.com This is a one year lease.
